So I'm lacking some understanding on how the turret system works. The way I understand it once you have the scope zeroed you can remove the turrets to zero the turrets.

After taking the screw off the turret I can't get the scope turret off and when I move the turret in adjusting my POI.

Maybe I'm not using enough force but I'm pretty stern with it

Which scope?

I'll verify with one in store tomorrow but it should unscrew in the middle, then pull up in the turret till it comes off or just higher than normal, then reset the zero and screw back down

Follow up in case anybody else gets in the same boat:

I had to get some channel locks and wrap the turret in a dish towel to get them off. They were snug as hell from the factory and couldn't get it off by hand. After working them on and off with the channel locks it got easier each time.

It's now loose enough I can use my fingers
