Roxor vs ATV side by side?

The Roxor mods thread was the first time I ever heard of it - looks cool. Anyone have one? How capable is it compared to an ATV? I have a lease that is basically "Piney Woods" terrain sand for 2' and no real roads. Full size pickups have no chance - been stuck too many times to count. Finally went with a Mule and Ranger that do much better, although still get stuck but much less frequently and much easier to get out. Also easy to store in a shipping container etc....

I am a Jeep guy - have a DD for wife and a trail rig we Rock crawl. Makes the Roxor very appealing.

Thoughts??

First - what's a DD?

Second - do you deflate your tires on the ranger?

Maybe add an onboard compressor to the Ranger but I'd imagine you'd need similar solution on a Roxor

I'd start with a comparison of weight of Roxor vs Ranger and then look at stock clearance between the two.

I've only high centered my CanAm HD10 twice in wet sand but I'm starting to look at bigger tires for more clearance and hope to avoid adding any more lift. But bigger tires aren't cheap

DD = daily driver. Or big tits, could mean either in this context I suppose.

Tex....not to derail but I have a new Can Am HD10. 23 hours on it. Since New it surges in throttle between 2000 rpm to 3000 Rpm. Very annoying as that is the speed we hunt at. Have tried different modes and low gear. It gets worse in low gear.
Can Am told me to take it to a dealer. They kept it a month to no avail. Can Am tech guy named Tyler Dums has said they all do it.
The ones I test drove did not do it.
Annoying as heck and Can Am customer service sucks. As they could care less.
Dealer pulled two new ones out of stock and they surge worse than mine. They say they are thinking of dropping the line due to this.
Does yours do this? Thanks

Good question Gunny - they do have a different throttle take-Up but I haven't tied it back to an RPM range. I notice it mostly in reverse but it's more of a latency engaging

I have two neighbors and they recognize it but not enough to concern anyone. I know the manager at the dealer here and will ask

Every Ranger guy that's been in mine wants to switch b/c the ride is smoother and we all think they are quieter. Our dealer says he sees more rangers in for service than can am but there are more rangers out there than can am so not sure that's a good measure

Thanks man for the reply.
I worked as a factory rep for a Yamaha company and could get an employee smoking deal on a Viking but they are loud as hell and the back seat is like you are in jail.
I test drove everything. I mean all of them.
Polaris, John Deere, Kawasaki, Honda, Textron, Kubota, Mahindra, Bobcat... all of them.
Can Am was the most quiet, rides the best and is more quality built but the most expensive.
I went with the Lonestar and really disappointed due to the surging issue.
It's right at the slow speed we hunt hogs with
I am just upset at Can Ams cavalier attitude.
I drove a brand new HD1000 Polaris two days ago. It is not as quality built, it is nosier and rides rough but between 2000-3000 rpm it runs perfect.

Sounds like my neighbors. He couldn't get it to idle at a decent speed to spray his fence lines from it. He sold his and bought a Honda Says the Honda is much better.

And I agree on the Yamaha Viking. Mine is loud to the point of needing ear plugs, and is hot as F with the heat coming up behind the front seats. Cooling fan regularly blows fuse also.

We have been exploring picking up a couple roxors for the farm. We don't have to get on the highway so the thought is less wear and tear on pickups and the ranger crew I bought a few months has already helped tons, but the payload isn't quite what we need for daily chores of repairing pivots, carrying enough feed for cattle(we have to make 3 trips) and pulling the welder/torch trailer.

We wanted to give them a couple years to see how they perform over time.

Just looked - you're right - it's 2-3,000 rpm so same issue
