Anyone know any private outfitters for tube trips on frio? Have a group of 40. Do NOT want to wait in line for tubes and shuttle for 40. Would pay extra $ for private or place that took reservations. Anyone know any?

If not, what outfit or trip recommend for big group?

I honestly wouldn't plan on floating the Frio right now unless we get some major rainfall. Current flow rate is 35 cf/s which is pretty low.

A float from seven bluffs to Frio Country is probably 3-4 hours with a lot of walking. Frio country to Neals has to be at least 5-6 with tons of walking. I would park my butt in a deep spot of the river and drink beer all day. I've floated the river with the flow rate this low and it is not fun, especially if you're in the tube pulling rotation.

I know that's not what you asked but want to make sure you know what you're getting into before committing time and money into this trip.

Garner just shut down their shuttle service because of low water.

Floated Seven Bluffs to Frio Country on Saturday. Flow is low but didn't have to walk enough to consider it excessive. But only getting worse as days go without rain. Took about 4 hours.

We used Andy's. Can buy reservations online. Was there at 9:30 am. We were the only 3 on the yellow dog ride to the drop off at that time. When we got picked up around 2, I wouldn't have stood in that line to float at that time.

I bet if you called them and paid ahead and set an early arrival, they'd accommodate. Don't know anyone that would guarantee that group on a weekend in the middle of the day. Maybe a weekday.
