Anyone purchased a trailer from here before? I'm in the market for a new 16ft utility trailer and they had some good pricing. A little leery because the pricing was considerably cheaper than everything else I looked at...$500+ dollars cheaper on a 16'x83" dual axle trailer with brakes. Any insight?

I've seen those too and wondered the same thing. They look like they're an ok build for a lighter load. Saving a little on lumber, no pipe top, cheaper hitch.

I got a quote for a 16x83 with a pipe top, heavy duty fold down gate, dual 3500# axle, 6ply radial tires, treated lumber decking, bulldog hitch, etc for $2045. Cheapest I found at another dealer was $2600+.

Yes I bought a trailer there. Was a smooth experience and legit deal and I have been happy with my trailer. Would recommend.

Sounds like a good deal with the upgrades over the $1300 model one that's always on craigslist. But even the base model seems like a deal.

They are OK trailers, I have one. Wiring isnt run in tubing or conduits under the deck and overall it is just a bit less welded than I would like. Lumber isnt treated. Paint is on the lower end.

But it pulls just fine, is square and serves my needs perfectly. For a medium to light duty utility trailer, they are solid. If you are using it in a heavier duty capacity, i would spend the extra $500.

I have an 18ft trailer from them I use for hailing multiple UTVs when needed. I agree with fatty schmelba on product quality. I also have a 16ft from Texas Trailer Country in Channelview I prefer more and use more.

This would be used for hauling a side by side and corn/protein to the lease and back, primarily. Maybe other misc stuff, but not much "heavier" work than that.

I bought a 16 foot angle top dual 3500 axle utility trailer from them about 8-10 years ago. It didn't have the finest finish and only maybe 2 coats of paint, and the wiring was simply done, but the design is sound and the build has been sufficient. I have loaded it up with 4000lbs of tractor and implements many many times and taken it out on the interstate and it has done just fine. I also have hauled probably 2-3 tons of rock with it before, which was a little on the overload side, but it worked. It also hauled my Honda Fit once, too, and it's about 3000lb loaded.

I added a couple of weld-on, tilt up 5000lb trailer jacks on the rear corners so I can lower them to make it much more stable when l am loading and unloading the tractor. They make it a HELL of a lot easier to change the tires out too. You can lift the entire trailer off the ground with the three jacks and remove all the wheels at once and take just the wheels in for new tires, or replace one on the road even with the trailer loaded much more easily.

I neglected to paint the wood regularly, and it did start to dry rot in a couple of spots after a few years of being stored outside, but a Saturday afternoon and some quality time with a cordless drill and I replaced it with some new 2x6x16 treated wood when the time came.

If you're in Spring, Trout Tire in Porter may be worth the drive to check out. When I was looking years ago, they had the best trailer at a much better price. I got a 5x10 for what I was finding for a 4x8 everywhere else in Houston.

$1,599 2-3500# axles in Channel view

I have bought two similar to this but 20' for hauling electrical construction material and they are fine

I have bought at least two cargo trailers from them as well

good folks and easy to deal with
The Aggie number specified has already been linked with another TexAgs account.

I would price and compare to a pj trailer. I bought my last one at nationwide trailers on 45n inside b8.
I ordered one primed and painted. You might consider upgrading to 10 ply or greater trailer tires also.
All depends on how much you want to spend.

I can't remember what dealer I went to in Houston a few years ago. It was near Spring, but you can have one made option for option just like they do for automobiles.

That is what I use mine for, it will be just fine for that.
