Found this weed in my pasture and seems more prolific this year. Would appreciate help with the ID and the best herbicide to use. TIA

That is antelopehorn milkweed. Once it gets that big it gets harder to control. Tordon, Cimarron Max, and Weedmaster will get it. It is a perennial so multiple treatments may be necessary.

Preferred plant for monarch butterflies. Not a bad native to have.

I was wondering what that was. I see it around my place now and then. Big white flowers on it a couple weeks ago.

I'd like to echo what rather be fishing wrote. The numbers of Monarch butterflies are dwindling and milkweed is the ONLY thing they eat. Milkweeds are getting more and more scarce as well due to loss of habitat.

Please consider keeping them!

This. If guy must spray, leave some strips along fence lines or brush lines as habitat.

This is also known as green milkweed in some parts.
