On a side note, I've never heard of these guns. They appear to be semi-auto version of the Ma Deuce, and I want one now.
I guess it's possible to convert them to full auto, which is why Salcido wanted them? Though, even semi-auto, they'd be pretty devastating.

A 26-year-old man faces up to three years in federal prison for his role in the illegal purchase of five semi automatic .50 caliber rifles from two area gun stores.
Tanner Lane Thomason pleaded guilty on March 11 to a felony count of misprision of a felony, admitting to participating in a straw-buyer scheme...
According to court documents, Federal Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents learned in August that Thomason bought two JnC Manufacturing Model M2HN .50 caliber, belt-fed rifles, which he ordered from a Lubbock gun shop. Each rifle costs about $9,350, which agents believed "far exceeded" his reported income...
Thomason spoke to agents on Aug. 25 and told them he sold the guns to a man he knew as Charlie Reyes, who agents later identified as Alfredo Salcido. Agents found messages on Facebook between Salcido and Thomason making a deal for the rifles bought in Levelland, the documents state.
Thomason said Salcido paid him $30,000 for the guns he ordered from the Lubbock gun store and $48,000 for the guns Thomason's associate bought in Levelland.
Federal records show Salcido entered the country from Mexico at the border in El Paso on the days he reportedly collected the guns in May, June and July.
