Went and practiced yesterday, night match tonight.

I thought I'd have the range to myself yesterday but there were about 20 game wardens there parked in all the bays even though they were only using the big bay. They also had their BBQ pit in the middle of the road at a choke point so I couldn't drive around to get to the rifle range.

Shot a falling steel match this morning.

Not this weekend. Going to go shoot some pigs today.

Had a couple come to ranch to finish up our few remaining MLD's this week end. Cold morning and the lady shot and missed two does. I mean......hit the dirt type of misses. (She was doing neck shots.) She has hunted with us before and has always been a good shot. She was convinced it was the gun so we came in, ate some breakfast, and went to the bench. She held a 1" group with her .270, three shots. Now it is messing with her mind a lot.
Her husband was giving her grief as well over it, even though he has not shot anything yet.

So we have been sitting on the bench shooting .22's to try and get her confidence back. Going back to blind this afternoon for another try.

Just wrapped up a session with the 5.56..pleased with my groupings but I need a different trigger.

Mounted a strike eagle to my rock river and put 150 rounds down range today. Had a blast. First time to shoot this thing.

I've been saying I'll go when it warms up. And by warming up I mean getting close to freezing.

Nice job. You beat me (and about thirty others) shooting a rifle!

Congrats, that's awesome.

I finished 13th out of 18 shooters in my match.

But I was also the only revolver shooter so I'll take beating 5 guys shooting semi autos for my first match with the 627.
