A buddy has a French made "Unique" model 17. The gun was stolen, and when the cops caught the guy, as luck would have it, he was in the process of dissasembling it. My buddy got the gun back, but now, he is missing the spring and guide rod, along with a magazine.

The gun looks just like this one:

I think the magazine can be found either of these places for under $30:

https://www.ima-usa.com/products/original-french-7-65mm-unique-model-17-magazine.html

But I do not see the spring or guide rod. Anyone have any leads on where I would go to look for one?

The fact that glock makes a model 17 also, almost makes esoteric crap like this impossible to find on the internet.

(edit) I just came across this link...I think I will call them and find out if what they have listed as the buccaneer will fit this model.

Numrich has Unique parts. Looks to be a WWII era gun. Places that handle surplus guns would probably be able to help.

Springs and a guide rod can be made by any gunsmith of you're unable to find one on a secondary market.
