Any ideas for live and silent auction items for our upcoming clay shoot, other than firearms? We already have that covered and then some.

What has been the most popular and what have you seen bring in the most money?

Sponsor will put up around $2000 and our company is matching that amount.

$4K would score a sweet hunting opportunity ... a mixed bag bird hunt, exotic hunt, etc. Find a lodge/outfitter willing to take $4K for a nice package for multiple hunters and possibly donate the rest if more than $4K. Packages for multiple people that folks can split the bid on seem to always do better at events we attend.

Guided fishing - inshore/offshore
Long range shooting instruction
Defensive pistol/AR training
Wild game dinner w/ bourbon/scotch/wine pairings
GNAT shoot (think sporting clays but with a human controlled drone instead of clays)
Falconry hunt
Bow fitting/Archery lessons

No Yeti. Don't care how they sell it, they cratered to the left when they watered down support for NRA programs.

Was a Yeti dealer. No more.

To be fair, I'm a gun retailer. But I'm not an NRA member.

Then why do you care if they don't support the NRA?

There are many, many issues On which I agree with the NRA. But there are some I don't. Not being a member doesn't mean I disagree with them completely.
A few years ago, I tried repeatedly to stop the constant phone calls and solicitations from every candidate they supported. It was out of control. Didn't stop so I just didn't renew.

I'd say timing is everything. When you are a national brand with a public stance, you have to be very careful when you change that stance.
