Hunted Wednesday morning at a place near Egypt. Limited out by 7:45. Maybe a little earlier. Good groups coming in early but wouldn't get close enough till about 7 am.

Ha, yeah well that's a holdover from my 70's and 80's upbringing. Still use the term. I think folks understood where i was going with my inquiry though.

We are killing limits in Brookshire, Lissie and Eagle Lake area.
Couple hunts were shy by a bird or two but it was not because of the lack of birds.

Hunted McGee - about 15 miles west of EL -- 3 man limit by 8:15

Sounded like a war zone all around us

Currently all our properties are averaging about 4 birds per person since opening day, that's over 5 props Egypt, EL, Garwood area.

Overall, very good hunts.

Glad somebody is having luck. My uncle lives in El Campo and farms rice 15 minutes or so west of town. He's had a tough season so far and usually the shooting is lights out.
