I have been doing casual research on coolers as a potential Christmas gift to my FIL. Don't really want to spend a ton of money - something around $100 or less would be awesome.
Came across the Igloo BMX 52 qt cooler priced at $85 which advertises holding ice up to 4 days, which would be a night and day upgrade compared to the average joe cooler my FIL already has. I am surprised to see some mixed reviews online - some say ice is there 3 or 4 days later on a hot trip and some say not even 24 hours in the A/C. Seems like a cooler will either hold the ice or it won't.
Anyone have any specific feedback on this Igloo cooler or with any others that are in this price range?
