How long do you want to ignore this user?
Went out to check on my KJ yesterday, and finish cleaning it up from a Sunday night cook, when I realized that, despite being under the cover that came with the Joe, the gasket had gotten wet during the rain yesterday, and the ceramic was leaching the water from the gasket.

This does explain the mold issues I've been having lately.

I don't have a covered area to keep the Joe - it lives on the back porch. My first thought was to apply a water repellent (NeverWet, CampDry, etc...) to the cover (which is only a little over a year old). Any other advise for mitigating mold growth?
