Do any of y'all drive a 15-16 GMC/Chevy Duramax that you have deleted? EGR and DEF? If so, did you do the work yourself? Apparently the CPU on the latest Duramax (L5P) is un-crackable.

I'm looking at new trucks and am considering getting a slightly used LML so I can delete it, just trying to find more information out.

I drive a deleted LML, it's a 12 tho. (LML ran 11-16 I think).

Deleted the DPF and muffler and DEF tank myself. Did it in a driveway with minimal tools in a couple hours.

Never did the EGR because the tune disabled it. There is a blocker plate you can put in, easier than full delete. Only 'risk' I have is if boost blows the EGR valve open. But I read multiple places is that it takes a large amount of boost to do that, not gunna happen in normal driving/towing.

Been 4-5 years. No problems
