I've got a patio with a ceiling of ~7.5 feet. I'm trying to figure out what type of fan options I have given the low clearance. Anyone have a good solution...other than moving away from Houston? Below are some fans I was looking at, but with a lot of fans being about 15 inches tall, that would get tight real quick.





This one is one of the more low profile with a height of 11 inches that might be my best option.



There is the wall mount option, but I think that wouldn't look quite as good..

They make some pretty sexy wall-mount fans that aren't just for barns and shops. You just have to look around.

Wall mount is pretty much your only option if you want it to move any air and/or not decapitate your guests.

Put a table under the fan so that people aren't walking under it?

Not cheap, but something to look at anyway.

Bladeless Fan

I think you ceiling is too low for a ceiling fan. Too close to people's heads and if anyone ever reached up for anything they would hit their drink or hand.
