My shooting coach from years ago had several of these:

Have put it on my "if you win the lotto buy this" list since then. As I don't play the lotto, well, likely not going to happen. But your OP didn't mention a budget, so that's my vote.

Yeah out of my budget for sure. I shot one of his 12 ga's several times. Like shooting with a piece of art. Back in the real word I saved up for a couple of years for my Beretta SP II but did get the stock bent to fit me and had the barrels ported, which was my splurge. It's a terrific clays gun for a recreational shooter. It doesn't go near the duck blind, that's my A5's territory.

Dude, you need to put a rough budget here otherwise I'll throw out some suggestions that cost more than the cars a lot of posters drive ...

I am by no means an authority but I have years shooting nssa and ata. I think the best thing you can buy within a budget most of us can afford is a citori model of your liking. I have shot a gran lighting for last 20 yrs with no problems, and I shoot ALOT. Shop around, with a bit of searching you can find a 4 barrel set at a good price. If you can't find that buy a 12 gauge and get some briley tubes. You can find a used citori a decent prices, if it locks up tight it is good to go. If you have more money than me I would recommend a Perazzi mx8. They are a dream to shoot and a large portion of Olympic competitors shoot a Perazzi.
Edit: completely unscientific but It seems the lower end Berretta o/us not stand up of large volume shooting.

For your average rich guy a Beretta DT-11. It's won many championships. Average $8500 -10k

Several others in the 25-500k range that are great shooters but really about a pecker size contest with your doctor buddies.

Go to Gordy and sons. They will let you hold a $500,000 shotgun.

Hell, the Stoeger is probably worth more than the car I drive.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.

Are you talking about the actual discipline of skeet or are you using the term to cover all clay sports?

My answer is probably a Kolar.

What length are the barrels? And fixed skeet chokes or you have choke tubes with all skeet chokes? Ballpark manufacture date? Thanks!

The old 101 is a wonderful gun, very similar to the browning. They were made in Japan and very high quality. They sell a 101 now but it is a different design and uses an aluminum receiver.

All fixed Skeet.
26" barrels. All weighted the same.
1980's
The 12 gauge barrels have been shot very little and it looks like the others have never been used.

Browning or beretta O/U depending on what fits you best was my experience from 20 years ago. I have a beretta 687 sporting with around 100,000 rounds through it from my NSSA days. Very entry level gun at the time but it worked well enough for AAA averages in all four gauges. You don't need to drop a ton if it fits well and is reliable. I had Briley tubes. My friend had a browning but it just didn't fit me right. He broke a high percentage of targets with his also.

So ultimately it comes down to a few things.
1) What are you looking at doing with the gun? Trap, skeet, sporting clays, dove hunting?
2) What is your price range?
3) Particular wood grade you are going for?

Answer these and I feel like the OB can point you in the right direction.

skeet and dove
2) What is your price range?$1,500ish which i know for an over/under isn't that much
3) Particular wood grade you are going for? while i want a wood stock I'm not picky

Answer these and I feel like the OB can point you in the right direction.

Given those parameters go find a Browning 725 field gun or Beretta Silver Pigeon, used. If one fits the other probably won't, as the Beretta has cast in the stock and the Browning doesn't.

There are too many S/As the list with that price point.
