I'll be in Houston in a few weeks. Looking for something fun to do with my Father-in-law and Brother-in-law. I would like to take them on a 1/2 day fishing trip. Conroe would be the most convienent, as we will all be in Magnolia. Not looking for a super serious trip- maybe just some cats & crappie, or a white & hybrid trip. Looking for it to be mainly social.

Any good guides that do midweek 1/2 day trips you can reccomend?

HOoker Harwell does night crappie trips on Conroe. Fished with him in May and caught two limits.

Tex Bonin is good. Look him up. Three of us caught 62 cats by noon with him a couple years back.

Don't we have a Conroe guide here on the OB? I can't recall his username right now, but someone will be able to. Something with "duck" in the name I believe.
