Location? I get around the Houston area quite a bit and have a Flir e6 you could borrow. Depends on how soon you need it and what you are trying to do.

In austin. Will be doing some late night work within a half mile of the Rio Grande in a month and just want some sort of a perimeter. Might be being over cautious.

Would rather a camera as I figure it would work as a passive guard versus a monocular which would need to be manned.
