Anybody here have some recommendations for materials suppliers I can contact in the Corpus/Alice area?

Looking for caliche, sand, engineered fill.

Years ago the county commissioner would provide you all you wanted if you promised to vote for him. He ended up shooting himself after being caught molesting his step-granddaughter (during a re-election year). He ended up living for awhile as a vegetable and still garnered about 40% of the vote.

Cool story, sorry I have nothing else to contribute. If I can remember where I bought mine when I lived in Orange Grove 4 years ago I will let you know.

I've got 2 calls in with MM, they don't answer the phone well. Same here in Houston with them too, must be a company thing.

Calallen materials has sand, select fill, and stabilized sand.

We used Vulcan in corpus christi and Martin Marietta in Portland, Tx for rock and road materials

Not sure of quantities so I'll include the trucking company we used as well. GP Transport.

Wright Materials may be your closest if you're in Agua Dulce.

2nd on Wright materials. They are the closest place to you. I've known the family since birth and they are good people. I can get you some contact info if need be.
