Asking for a friend: need to rent a boat trailer to haul a 26' pontoon boat from Ark to Conroe. Prefer greater Houston or aggieland area. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Tall order. You probably will have to "rent" a trailer in storage from another large pontoon boat owner with similar specs who has their boat on the water in a marina or dock somewhere. The problem will be finding someone in those circumstances.

That's a hell of a big pontoon so I imagine will increase difficulty.
