I've never had one.

Is there a minimum PSI for cleaning concrete?

Do they have different kinds of water input or are they limited to water hose only? I would like to be able to use one at the marina where I have electrical outlets but there are no spigots.

I doubt it. Your better washers can be gravity fed, but none that I know of that can siphon from a lower water level. I'm sure you could rig something up with a pump, but you would probably need a 20gpm pump or greater.

Interested in this too. My boys' chalk and chalk paint "art" are making my porch look like the gay parade marched through.

I've had the older version of this one for probably about 8 years. It's been great for removing oil and grease from concrete. The only bad part about pressure washing is that unless you do the entire surface, you will end up with a zebra look.

My girls drew some faces on our driveway. I asked them what it was and they said sidewalk chalk. Well, after several months time, numerous torrential thunderstorms and some squirting with the water hose, those faces are still there and they are as vivid as the day they painted them. I'm starting to think that they might have lied to me.

Sidewalk chalk would have been long gone by now if exposed to the elements.

I would think you could drop a hose in the lake with a small filter and float

I've been intrigued by these. I think you can drop a hose in a bucket and use that as a water source.

Check out tractor supply. They have some good deals. I think I paid less than $300 for all you w need around the house. Only issue was the deal came w a wand w permanent select spray type tip. You could dial it to the spray you wanted but could not remove it to attach the handle and wand to another bigger cleaning device for say a driveway. I had an old handle and wand in the garage I was able to use.

I have used a couple different electric ones. They are all pretty much the same. They have enough power to clean up your driveway and the house. They will not last, but they are cheap, portable and easy. When they are working, they do a fine job. Not sure if there are high end electric ones, but the cheapos are exactly what you expect.

This. Buy an electric one off Amazon and you'll be fine. I've used a lot a gas and electric models over the last few years. I'd highly recommend the electric moving forward

Buy electric unless you are going to use it a lot. No maintenance, burning off fuel, cleaning lines and carbs.

My $99 electric stanley cleaned my porch with no issue. 1 pass

CPO Outlets is a great place to look online

A Grainger branch manager once told me that every power washer they sell eventually is returned broken.
