So I noticed this weekend that one of the oak trees in my front yard had next to no leaves on it compared to my other oak. It looks terrible and it seems like mine is the only one on the block that looks like this. Do I have a problem or is it just taking longer to come back than the others? I have been in this house for a few years and have never noticed this oak be this bad. It s the bigger of my oak trees and has always looked the healthiest.

I've got a monstrous live oak in my backyard that is pretty much bare right now. It lost a lot of leaves in hurricane Harvey, but the rest have just fallen off. But I can see the little buds popping out so I'm not too worried. I think you're good.

Live oaks have started dropping old leaves recently. Should Not be an issue if it's a live oak.

ok thank you. It is a live oak. It just didn't recall it doing that last year and my other tree looks like it has a lot more life to it right now. I will have to look to see if I can notice any buds when i get home.

Here is a picture of a Live Oak I took a few days ago. This is about as "vibrant" a fall as you get from a live oak.

I usually dont worry about tree leaves until April. I have 1 tree that looks dead usually until we get 7-10 days of consistent weather in the 80's
