Howdy - A local friend in San Martin de Los Andes has some red stag hunts for March/April 2018. If anyone has been interested in hunting free range Patagonia red stag and fishing for wild trout, this is a great opportunity. And priced reasonably.

These are free range management class stag (up to 180 SCI). Nice representative trophies.

$5,500 per hunter (includes two stag).

* A beautiful 20,000 acre private estancia, near San Martin de Los Andes.
* Completely free range hunt experience. The estancia is joined to other low-fence private properties that total close to 490,000 acres.
* Hasn't been hunted in four years. Never commercially, only guests of the owner.
* Luxury private residence.
* 2x1 hunting with professional guide (bow or rifle). Hunters can opt to hunt from vehicle or horseback.
* The famous Chimehuin River cuts through the property (fly fishing for rainbow & brown trout).

Any talks about upcoming years? Sound like a great time but 2 month lead time won't work a lot of people.

Yes, the property will be hunted in 2019, as well. We do understand not many can travel relatively last minute, but some folks might be able to manage it. My buddy thanks you for your interest.

Not to derail but Just curious: any of you international hunters care to comment on how easy/possible/expensive it is to get meat or trophy back home from something like this?
