I was having a conversation with my brother (who used to build guns) a while back about some of the guns he did. I suggested he build me a super soaker taser to electrocute someone instead of shoot them. Would this actually work? I feel like this idea has potential.

Take your string of old incandescent Christmas lights and stretch them out on the backyard lawn. Bust the globe one one, pop a squat on it and let us know. For science and stuff.

Water is a terrible conductor.

If it has a possibility of working you'd have to use salt water and have them be very close and they wouldn't be stunned very long.

This ruins everything. And Mythbusters can EAD for stealing my apparently terrible idea.

No thanks. Sounds dangerous.

Water may be a terrible conductor, but the humidity has been so low in College Station the last two days, that I get a static shock every time I wash my hands. From the glowing water, not the fixture.

When I take my coat off at work in the mornings, my ear buds pretty much electrocute my ear drums.
