Need some recommendations on outdoor patio furniture. Want better quality that Lowes but not interested in Front Gate prices either. Where do I look?

I have the crate and barrel outdoor stuff and really like it. The Rocha line - I've had it for 3 yrs and still looks new.

I did not buy from here, but mine look like these.
Recycled plastic, but each chair weighs 45 lbs.
So they are very sturdy and comfortable.
I got the redwood color, which is maroon, and I got a gray side table for each.
Mine face west and I've had them for 2 years without any fading.
A buddy of mine got a swivel rocker that I like even better, but they didn't have those when I bought mine.
And I think his cost around $700 per chair.

I actually think lowes and Home Depot have some pretty good quality outdoor furniture. We bought a set when we bought our house 6+ years ago and it still looks great. Wasn't cheap either.

When we built our pool 13 years ago, decided to make the jump to some "nice" patio furniture. Looked at Chair King and about died at the prices... Did some research and was able to find the same stuff online for around 60% of the cost of Chair King... Delivered (freight) in flat boxes. Had to be assembled.

The furniture we found was cast aluminum / powdercoated / etc... Brand was Hanamint.

It lasted over 11 years on our patio in Houston with a saltwater pool. Good quality stuff. Much nicer than what you can get at Home Depot / Lowes.

Wait until September to buy--that's when the best sales are on for quality outdoor furniture.

I was in he same boat as you and the best furniture for the price that we found was at Weirs in DFW.

Best outdoor stuff we have ever bought was from Same also. remember that here is S Texas we have just about the harshest environment for this stuff there is. My backyard gets full sun from sunup to sundown. Nothing , regardless of the price, lasts as long as most of us would like. After many years experience I have adopted the same feelings about patio stuff as I do about gas grills. Down here stuff self destructs in the harsh weather so I look at it as expendable and don't buy top of the line. I look at GAS grills as 4-5 year " investments" and simply throw the $150.00 grill away and get a new one. ( not the same for my smoker and charcoal ones however)
Plus its a good excuse to get new stuff ever 6 or 7 years.

I think Lowes/HD aluminum is stuff is just as good as the chair king stuff. Learned my lesson pretty quick about buying steel. Have never had a problem with any aluminum furniture regardless of how cheap or expensive it was. And I've never had a steel set that lasted more than a year or two before it started rusting. Haven't tried av wooden set since it seems like a lot of maintenance.
