36" hog panels, t-posts every 8ft, double wiring at each post, and a single strand of barn wire on top....

Yet, when they get big enough and smell protein, they can climb. This guy is getting into two other feeders with the same setup.

Are your pens round? I've never had hogs get inside a round pen, unless I've wanted to trap them.

One of them is. This one is rectangular. 3 panels (48') x 2 panels (32').

Never have problems with them getting in until you get a rogue boar like this guy. I have seen this 3 times in 16 years. All boars and all about this size or larger.

Have you tried wiring up some brooms around your feed pens?

Yep. The stupid thing is, we have two feeders running right now with corn within a mile of this feeder that have no pens. They're literally our hog feeders to shoot and kill hogs and an occasional aoudad.

Guess corn wasn't good enough for him...

Probably pushing underneath the panel. Run a string of barbed wire across the bottom of the panels so when they go to rooting their nose it will get poked

The smaller ones can do that but this guy is 100% getting over the panels. Nowhere he can squeeze or push under a panel.... not enough play. Plus he has bent the top of the panel where he climbs over.

We saw the same thing last year. I have pics of some that definitely went over. Not sure I got him, but i shot a lot of his friends and family since then.

i have one of those right now too. where i hunt has the same feeders and this SOB i'm going after sits on his ass and eats out of the feeder. doesnt stand up.. but literally sits on his ass and eats out of it. i'm estimating hes around 3.5 feet tall about pushing 350#

You're probably spot on about the size. At my FILs once they hit about 250lbs (high fenced and feed the hell out of the protein) it doesn't take much for them to eat out of a trough feeder.

i've only seen him once and all the pics on that cam got deleted. i'm headed out there next weekend so hopefully i'll be able to post a game pic of him AND shoot him in the nuts

After the kill shot, I may or may not take an additional 10 shots out of frustration for eating my $11/bag of protein... a suppressor would be nice !

1. shoot his nuts off
2. that hog in the OP is 200 at best. A 300 lb hog has a thick shield on the front. The front legs "beef" up a ton.

The hog in the pic is likely 150-175. 200 would seriously be pushing it.

Have similar sized boar jumping over 32"
Hog panel. I have one fuzzy pic of him clearing the top of it like a deer. Neighbor says he got several pics of him jumping his feed pens last year. Never would have imagined pig that large would be that nimble.
