Anyone that has one of these little guns known if the stock can be easily taken off?

Son is turning 6 and prefers a colored one as opposed to traditional black. Just want to know I can take the stock off and paint it a different color in the future.

Any other options other than the Crickett? I have a Henry lever, but the pull is just a little too long and the gun is a little too heavy.

Thanks,

Pretty sure black is the preferred terminology to colored

Welp, that's the end of this thread.

Lol. Op have never had a rifle that the stock couldn't be removed. I own the rascal and I can check tomorrow to be sure but is bet my butt that it comes off. If not, it's ok. It's a damn fine rifle for the kid and it may be a good lesson in function over aesthetics.

The stock can be removed. It also comes in a few different stock options. It is a much better rifle than the cricket.

My son and I rattle canned a stock, just taping over the action. When we built the Blackout, I wanted to differentiate it from the other AR,s so we painted a band around the barrel and mags. His choice of color,? Pink.
He's 6'4" 280 at 14 yrs. who am I to argue.
