Did you throw it against the wall like the guy in the other thread? Or did you try to adjust the grip angle so it would actually fit a normal human hand?

That's a nifty little "gadget" you have there...

Not sure how you did that, but take the slide off the gun and use a small screwdriver to pry that back cover plate down (it slides out the bottom of the slide). Be careful when you do it because there are a couple of springs in there that could (but usually don't) come out. Then, while depressing the aforementioned springs with the small screwdriver, simply slide the cover back in until it snaps into place. Nothing to it.

You may need to buy a new cover plate if something is wrong with yours. I've never actually seen one pop out like that before. The cover plates are available just about anywhere on the internet and they're cheap. Just search Glock slide cover plate.

That ain't broke, it just ain't broke in. Just drag it behind your truck down a dirt road for about 1.5 miles, (this should remove that spur) then without cleaning it in any way rapid fire it until you melt the plastic guide rod. Replace the melted plastic guide rod with a metal one, but be careful it might be a little hot, now your good to go for a life time of shooting without a single ftf.

Don't fret none, their quality is down a little bit right now since yeti keeps sneaking in at night and stealing polymers from their polymer mine, but yeti will be bottoms up soon seeing how rtic is buying those cheap China polymers for half off. Then their quality will be back to what it's been the last hunderd, hunderd and fifty years.

Yep, it's broken. I'll buy it for scrap so I can candy the parts off of it. Is $100 fair?

Nor have I. Curious to know what chain of events lead to that.

When holstering particularly in appendix position this mimics thumbing the hammer on a DA/SA. Just another layer of security against foreign material entering the trigger guard (loose shirt, cinch straps on jackets, etc).

I don't think any specific event led to it. Not necessary but doesn't hurt either. So I can see the utility.
