All knowing OB,

Let's say you're planning a party for 50 people for about 4 hours. What would be the acceptable beer:person ratio? What about liquor:person? Talking normal people here, not the "I can kill a case of Natty in my underwear watching Jerry Springer type of crowd"

Wait a second... If this is a class reunion, and your class is anything like mine, I would definitely prepare for at least 20-30% of the crowd to be the "kill a case of natty" types. Maybe more depending on region and town.

I've got a self diagnosed condition I refer to as FORO (fear or running out). It is because of this condition that I always buy substantially more than what common logic may tell me. A party ending early because you ran out is always worse than people staying late because they are having such a great time

If you're hiring a bartender with any experience, I would hope they will know better than we will what supplies are needed for your event.

I don't know - what if he ended up with extra beer and wine. That would be terrible.
