Was driving my trails this morning and caught a glimpse of this Indian Paintbrush! I don't know much about flowers, but isn't it a little early for these spring flowers to be sprouting. #globalwarming #millennial

Just saw some Blue Bonnets on 35 in round rock. They looked kind of puny...I suspect the mild winter will mean a not so great wildflower year?

I remember seeing a couple of Indian Paintbrushes in mid summer and fall. It never occurred to me that they can bloom inconsistent with the seasons because you still see way more of them in the spring & early summer. I don't remember ever seeing them in February though.
