Anyone have any recommendations for a breeder of field bred english c o c kers?

I just helped my Dad find a field cocker. They aren't easy to find. His dog came from Covey Flush in Georgia. There's a guy at Abilene I talked to named Curtis Rodgers that seems to have alot of experience with field cockers. The one kennel I found out about after we had a dog is called Oahe. It's in North Dakota and they have really nice dogs.

Also, Skippy85 who posts here, may have some puppies at some point.

My female cocker was struck by a car and killed a couple of months ago. I'm planning to start a new pup in the spring after quail season.

John Rex and Diane Gates in Tennessee told me they have two litters that should have whelped last week or this week. My cocker came from Donna Markey at Lazy MD Kennels in Bulverde, TX. I haven't spoken with her, so not sure what she has at this time. I didn't plan to start looking until after the first of the year, so not sure what else is out there.

Sorry about your dog.

I called that kennel your dog came from a couple of times and never heard back from them. I got the impression they maybe don't even have dogs anymore.

She's can be an odd duck. When I bought my cocker from her she had just had back surgery and I think she liked the pain killers a little too much. She was about half loopy every time we spoke. I can't imagine she's out of the business. She raised English setters and English cockers and had a very nice operation in Bulverde, TX. She's an ENT doctor and works with PRCA and their Justin Sports Medicine group, so she's legit, just odd.
