How long do you want to ignore this user?
Anyone have experience with this 20g shotgun? Looking at one for my 10 yr old son. I also just found out that the gun I borrow is no longer available. So what are your thoughts for an adult to use this when the kid gets tired of shooting it. I am trying to avoid buying 2 shotguns today and want to get my son shooting this weekend. Was going to go with a light load for him and a heavier for me

Thanks!

My son used one for several years that we borrowed from a friend. It was a great fit for him and the ambidextrous safety was a plus for a lefty. It is a good, solid, easy to use shotgun. I've shot it a few times and the recoil isn't too bad. Hope that helps.

It is a good choice. A decent gun at a decent price. It will last him well into his adult years should he decide to keep hunting

Thanks for the replies. I mistakingly let him hold a Franchi Affinity and he immediately said he liked it much better...said it was easier to hold and "look through". I am in need of a shotgun myself so I got it instead.
He shot it well this weekend and I really liked shooting it too! Another toy for dad....uh, my son.

I bought my older boy the Franchi Affinity for his 11th birthday. You won't regret it. It's been a great gun and is worth every penny. Did you get full size or compact? Just curious because you said you're both using it.

I got the compact because I want it to be his gun and I will get me a new shotgun for next season. But I found it very easy to shoot and liked it.
