Completely impossible to tell, but if it is a black widow bite he will start having severe cramping abdominal pain shortly and will be very ill. If it's anything else the treatment isn't any different than any other insect envenomation. Benadryl, ice, NSAIDs, and monitoring.

Two puncture wounds usually means spider bite

Now that said, impossible to say for sure or what kind of spider.

Thanks. He said he's feeling fine and the Cortizone is stopping the itch. There's some redness growing around the bite, but nothing too bad. I'll keep watching.
