I'd be more scared of a big dog close to a school then a bobcat. That one person seems like they are scared it's going to eat all the children. Oy vay.

Pretty sure that's a bobcat.

You're over in Woodlake correct? If so, you have them much closer than Pebble Creek. I've seen one in Nantucket and one on South Oaks. My neighbor swears I have a fox in my back pasture but I haven't seen it.
Pretty cool, but keep your small animals up at night.

There was a family of red foxes that lived off of new main/ by Best Buy when I lived in that neighborhood circa 2002. They were super cool to watch over the years. I don't frequent that area enough now to known if they're still around.

As near as I can figure it's a Gray that comes through the back along a creek that leads into the Castlegate subdivision and chases house cats around then back home to Nantucket. I don't know how far they range, and it would bypass a lot of fat cats to get to Castlegate.

There is a pair of grey foxes that have lived for several years on Swiss Ave. near Baylor in Dallas. There is a single that hangs out near the courthouse in Fort Worth. They could live pretty much anywhere in College Station.

Would they range 1-2 miles daily? That seems to be what's happening, but I don't know their likely pattern.

Very easily. Averaged between males and females, they maintain homeranges that are roughly 1,000 acres. Within that area, there will be core areas they tend to hang out in more.---Interestingly, their presence and home range is greatly influenced by coyotes.

They seem to be traveling along, but not identical to a coyote path (nightly).

Plenty of foxes and bobcats in b/cs. Parents have some land right on the edge of town and we can always tell when the cats are around because rabbits are suddenly non existent.

I have seen a bob cat on rock prairie behind pebble creek in the evening when coming home. I have also seen them on the backside of Lick Creek park near where it runs into Pebble Creek.
