So my uncle just pulled a chip out of one of our game cams and we saw plot hounds running around under our feeder on the edge our property outside of Nixon. Our eastern border is lined by a good creek that is full of big trees with lots of coons. I'm in vet school and have some coon hound friends that do this as a hobby so I know that's what was going on. These people show plot hounds and identified them for me in the video. This part of the creek is at a bend so our side is about twelve ft higher than the other side. We didn't get any people on the cams, just dogs. The cam that took the video is at the corner of our property so I have to keep an open mind thinking that the dogs out ran the owners but at the same time it's not uncommon to have people run the creeks. I'm just pissed that they are on my land. I feel like they had to come from the northern fence line but those folks are older and just run cattle. Our eastern neighbors have dogs but I've never seen them (I just hear them a lot, no idea what breed). It would be a feat for those dogs to climb that twelve foot drop unless they crossed onto my northern neighbors land and worked their way down. Anyways, sorry for venting. I was just wondering how y'all would approach this. I don't want to put up blatant signs to my northern neighbor and piss him off thinking I was accusing him of something. And like I said it could have been an accident of someones dogs getting out ahead of them. They didn't hurt anything I just don't want them making a habit of running my land. I appreciate yall's input.
