What's everyone use? Have an old pair of White's packer boots and a new pair of Courteneys, been using Renapur balm but started looking around the web today and all sorts of pros/cons. Petroleum, mink oil, beeswax, neats foot, pecard. Anyone know more than the average Joe? Thanks

I use neatsfoot oil because that was what my old man used when I was a kid. Don't know if any of the other products are better or worse.

Saddle soap to clean, mink oil to condition. Works for me.

This Fiebing's Mink Oil paste is amazing. Use it on everything. Makes good leather FANTASTIC leather. It did wonders for my Saddleback Front Pocket Thin briefcase in Tobacco, too.

Has anyone ever used Leather Honey? I've heard good things about it but I've never used it. Considering it for my carry holster.

This right here. It just works, isn't expensive, and is easy to apply. Even better is to warm your boots up in the oven a bit so that the mink oil liquefies and really penetrates into the leather.

I coat liberally with mink oil and then bake at 140 with the oven door cracked. Really does well.

Find an old oil field sludge tank and walk around in it for a few minutes. The paraffins will fix em right up.
