I hunt in bear country all the time and I don't really get excited about bears or even mountain lions. That being said, I don't care for the sounds on that recording...would probably creep me out in the field.

Any time I hear "scream", I general lean foxes. They make some really odd sounding vocalizations.

My in laws live in SW Arkansas and ive driven thru SE Oklahoma a few times.

Its a really sparsely populated and isolated area.

I consider myself a pretty avid bigfoot skeptic/enthusiast and there are a ton of pretty interesting reports from the region that was recorded. Pretty creepy recording and def has a rapey feel to it.

In all seriousness, that area of OK is a hotbed of 'squatch activity. The reality of such beast is up to you to decide, but there are significantly more sightings and run-ins reported there than in any other area besides the PNW.

And, as mentioned, SE OK is extremely rugged and sparsely populated. If such an animal did exist, that area would be ideal territory. Google "siege of Honobia". Check out the sightings on BFRO, and do some searches on Google for Bigfoot howls/screams/whoops. Your recording sounds very much like what has been recorded before. Now, as to what made it......again, I'll leave that up to you to decide.
