I really don't get the weight argument. I wear a Ruger SP101 .357 with 3" barrel every single day. I think it weighs 27 ounces. Very heavy by others standards. With a good belt I can barely tell it is there. That extra inch of barrel really helps with accuracy and doesn't cause any problems with concealability. To each his own.
