I keep seeing these Landmaster SxS on CraigsList. Anybody know anything about them? I know, "if it ain't a Polaris Ranger you're an lolpoorz" but I'm just wondering...

So y'all know what I'm talking about: Landmaster 4x4

I'm not positive, but I think these are made or associated with land pride. Land pride makes ag implements and are regarded as pretty decent quality. Other than that, I know of no one who has one.

Not sure that helps any.

Interesting. I was just thinking about looking into a utility vehicle for work around my place, and these are cheaper than comparable JD, Kawasaki, and Polaris.

Watching for more info...

Finn,

We had a guy in our duck club that owned one. After teal season last year, we didn't see it out again. If I recall, he had a gear problem that he had to fight to get fixed under warranty. Have no idea if it was a user issue, a heavy water/mud issue, or component.

Still need to hit you up on the fly fishing.....Ill ping you via FB.

Kinda look like the ones out in front of Tractor Supply.

You get what you pay for. Buying a name brand machine ensures that you'll have access to parts and service.

We've got one...I don't like it. Probably because i'm 6 foot 5 and my femurs don't fit in it.

Or Home Depot. The ones there look cheap and flimsy.

It's not a Landpride unit. Landpride stopped making their utility vehicle several years ago.

Mahindra just brought out a UTV...but it MSRP's at $13k in base form!

We're looking to replace our `06 Ranger 2WD, and so far the new 570cc Ranger or the 700cc Honda Pioneer are the prime candidates.

That Subaru is an air cooled engine, and so is the Mahindra FYI.

I'm perfectly willing to pay for quality but I'm not going to pay extra just to get a "name." Name doesn't mean quality
