I have a large BGE. I learned of the CGS from old threads on here. I'm thinking I'd like the adjustable rig R & B combo package and I'm thinking of adding the grill extender. Anyway, I've ordered nothing and was curious about the opinions of others on what you have and have found useful, plus things you wouldn't get again. Thanks.

I have a large Grill Dome and love the swing rack. Can do 4 7# pork butts on it, or 3 9#ers.

I have a large green egg.

Looked at adjustable rig but is was pretty expensive and I already had the plate setter. I went with the pswoo instead. It works with the plate setter and the 16" drip pan fits perfect inside the plate setter. Then I made a second tier grate with nuts and bolts. Very happy with it.

Gives two levels of cooking

Raises normal grate where you can direct grill at the felt line.

Everything is together so you can grab the pswoo and remove everything at once to add fuel. Also makes reverse sear very easy.

I have one of these and I HATE it so much it sits in my garage as a hunk of metal and I bought the adjustable rig. I thought I was going to love this thing, but it was much more one demensional than I thought and I couldn't keep the thing from rusting no matter how well I seasoned it and took care of it. On top of that, the thing warped like crazy and when I tried to contact the manufacturer about a warranty (he also posts on the egghead forum), he was no where to be found. I would stay away from this product for as much as it costs when you can get the AR for about the same price and it's much more versatile. Lots of other have had problems with it too. YMMV

Now, in regards to the ceramic grill store. Those guys are good people. The best advice I can give you is call them and talk to them. Tell them what you do and what you want to do and they will put together the best package for you. They are located in Denton and if you're up there can save a little on shipping. They are some of the best people I have ever bought anything from, and when my stone for my MiniMax came broken, it was no problem calling them and they replaced it no questions asked.

I haven't had nowhere near that experience with the swing rack. Ill agree it's expensive, but mine only got some rust after leaving it out in the rain for a few days. Scraped it off and cooked on it again and all good. initially for the first 10 or so cooks I did liberally coat it no-stick spray each time. I'm sure those other systems are fine as well.
