Awesome pics. Just picked up a kayak from my pops and ran to ACK today to grab a paddle, life jacket, and a couple other small accessories. Will be taking it out to Galveston first chance I get. Speaking of, if any vets want to go out with a newby let me know!

That's an early-60's vintage FF79. 5/6wt but the action is comparable to a modern 3/4wt graphite. And the reel is a late-50's/early-60's Pflueger Medalist 1495 back when they were still being made in Akron, Ohio.

That rig has become my favorite for bass and bream in my local ponds.

There's a bunch of snook cruising outside of my hotel room. The bait is thick enough to walk on, so I don't know if the snook will notice any lures. I'll find out this week...

That's either a bait spot beam, or the roof of a kayak rental building. The building corners are painted metal and very reflective. Either way, it really messed up my picture.
