Howdy,

So my old man retired this year and he wants to go on a fishing trip. My brother and I are still working folks and we are taking a 5 and a 8 year old. So we are trying to make this a 2 night trip at most with one full day of fishing.
Can I get some recommendations for trips coastal or offshore on the upper Texas(CC north)coast or Louisiana? Thanks

The lodge is great, and guides are typically top notch. If you are interested in trout and reds, definitely consider it.

Do the night trip out of hackberry lodge.

any other ideas? I like the first place but overnight fishing is not going to work.

I've always heard good things about Bay Flats Lodge down in Seadrift, TX.

All these look great but a member of our party really wants to go offshore.
