We recently bought our first house, meaning we now have a backyard, and we could now host our own crawfish boils.
I shopped around online to find a jet burner and stainless steel pot.
I ended up with these:

The burner is rated at 105,000 BTU. I filled the pot up a little over half with water (about 60 quarts probably).
It took near an hour to get the water to a rolling boil. Once I added the crawfish (45 lbs), it took about 10 minutes to get back to a small boil (not rolling) and most of the crawfish were red and floating, so I went ahead and shut it off and let them soak.
I figured 105,000 BTU would be ideal for a 100 quart pot. Is the burner under performing? Could it be improved with a better regulator? Or is this all normal?
