Anyone going down for Jeeps go topless weekend at Crystal beach this weekend?

We'll be the guys NOT in a jeep, camping and kayak fishing the surf. Just figured I'd see if anyone else would be down that way.

I'm debating on whether to go or not. Expected 20mph winds and massive amounts of seaweed don't sound that fun but the gf wants to go so I'll probably be there.

Yeah I'm a little worried about all the seaweed for fishing, but going to take tomorrow (Friday) off which should be beautiful weather. Temperature wise it's supposed to be great all weekend.

Yeah I think I'd rather be set up with some poles on the beach but the seaweed is killer right now.

Some things cannot be unseen if you drive too far down high island...like a pair of tits resembling two cow udders, or 65 year old hair covered dudes with giant potbellies wearing nothing but a banana hammock....

You take and awful risk going down there and running into some aged hippies that won't give it up. If you're on a 4x4 trek, best look straight ahead and keep driving if you pass anyone camped out on the beach past about 3 miles down.

Oh, and the beach is pretty washed away, up to the fence, which they've not relocated. This means the sand track behind it is still on the wildlife refuge, and if they catch you driving on it, you may get ticketed. Heard of it happening a few times recently. Stick to the beach.

Other than all that, the fishing is as good as ever.

What's wrong with banana hammocks?

Went to the nude beach area near high island.....not really what you'd hope for when you hear nude beach. Didn't see anyone under 50....funny and disturbing at the same time.

Had a buddy go cruise it one time and ran into a group of college girls in their birthday suits(around spring break). That's the only good story I've ever heard from anyone going down there.

We had some topless hotties come by on top of a Jeep one time during our bull red roundup, but my buddy was too slow with his camera. Lame, I know.

Yup and in february you can see guys wearing a sweater and nothing else. Its real bad on a high tide, then they move towards the opening.

No topless sightings yet. No fish in rollover pass either yet. Tons of jeeps filing in so hoping for the former later this evening.
