My wife and I are in charge of this years first annual sporting clays tournament. It has usually been a small group the past 3 years but this year we are getting more people interested in participating and we want to make it an actual tournament.

The Problem...

We cant think of a good tournament name that is work (Energy/Oil/Gas company) appropriate but still a fun/funny name. We were thinking some thing along the lines of

-C.H.O.K.E.
-P.U.L.L.
in some kind of acronym form.

I am open to any suggestions clean, funny, semi dirty, or just plain ol DIRTY. (most likely the dirty ones will not be used for the tournament, only for my personal entertainment).

And, what shoot is this? I'm an oil and gas attorney and the firm is always looking to sponsor O&G events.

Works even better if you were to staff it with "models"...

I shot one a few years ago called the "Clay Rain...make'n it rain 100 shells at a time"

Am I missing something?

The past 3 years, it has been about 6 of us going out and shooting a fun (no real score keeping) round on Sunday, then the Golf tournament on Monday. But we have gained a lot more interest from others and they want to turn it into a actual tournament style shoot.

The ICoTA sporting clays tourney is May 16th and it's huge. Held at Rio Brazos in Simonton. You might check it out.

There's a TexAgs team shooting in the Ric Summers Shooting for a Cure Tournament and at least one of the members is Oil and Gas related.

We'd be more than happy to be the official TexAgs sponsored team for the Go And Unearth Gaseous Elements Shoot (GAUGE)

Best I could do...

1st Annual Fracking Clays Tournament.

Went to a skeet shoot in Katy and the safety guy made the comment to always have your, "barrels up and actions out." Of course my team took it and ran with it. Going to be our team name next year.

Don't know yall's jargon but I'm hanging up on using Frack somehow. "Frack-N-Blast Clay Tournament" "Have A Frackin' Blast Clay Tournament"
