Basically, you'll never know. You aren't the first person to ask and you won't be the last. I think there's a thread in the FAQs that gives a brief overview, but other than that just roll with it.

Small oat patch leased. Someone did not like it AT ALL. To close to their land, but made lemonade or tea for a BBQ. Apparently a loud noise scared the crap out of the oat patch hunter.
