She will be a fine host for my Silencerco Sparrow for which I'm currently awaiting a stamp.

Browning Buckmark
.22LR
4" barrel; threaded 1/2"x28

Another Buckmark owner here. Excellent .22 pistol.

Gonna make the wait for June very hard (approximate delivery date of stamp).

I like it.

I'm very heavily considering a threaded .22 pistol, a threaded .22 rifle, a trust and a suppressor for both as my next purchases.

Would love a range report, especially if you're shooting the cheap bulk ammo. I'm starting to look into getting myself a 22 pistol.

Very nice!

In case you didn't know it, there is a very easy trigger-spring modification that will improve the already pretty decent trigger. It's on the internet in several places, so you should be able to find it if your Google-fu is up to snuff.....

Will do as soon as I shoot it. Probably next weekend...

This I will find. Trigger isn't bad on this one. Real clean but it's about 7lbs which is significantly heavier than I'd like. Will let you know how that turns out!

I just bought a S&W Model 22A. The thing eats everything...even Golden Bullets! Hope yours does the same.

Envious of the threaded barrel.

Just ordered my 22 suppressor and rifle. Looking at which pistol to get now and I think that might be the one. Look forward to the range report.

Holds 10. I won't be chambering it until I get to the range... You know, in case an extractor spring is in backwards or something...

Besides the always excellent choice BM, you might also look at the Ruger offerings. They make a MKIII with threaded barrel, and they also have the 22/45 Lite, which as it's name suggests is lighter in weight than most other full-sized (more or less) .22's. This decrease in weight will be nice once you add the extra weight of the suppressor.

You can also get the Ruger SR22 in a threaded version too, but the MKIII and 22/45 are IMO a better handgun.

If by chance you already have a MKIII or BM, you can get a threaded barrel for them from Tactical Solutions.....

Ours is nearly match-accurate with good ammo. Hope yours is the same. These provide more performance for the money than does most handguns....

Pretty much what we did... except I found a new take-off upper from a 22/45 lite. With a can, the gun will be half a pound lighter than it is with the standard barrel.

The uppers are apparently made by TacSol for Ruger, but you can find them on Gun Broker from folks swapping them out. Either upper is serialized, so it requires an FFL transfer though.

It's ok, you and Skub can remind me that my muscle memory will fall to pieces once I buy a Glock.

I have a buckmark also. I would recommend putting a little bit of loctite (blue) in the top 2 screws after cleaning when you reassemble. If I put alot of rounds downrange the screws will start to come loose.

Great gun and super accurate.

What's with the gold trigger? Is that a Buckmark thing or is that an upgrade?

All you need now is to find ammo...

A clerk told me the other day "We have plenty .22 guns just nothing to shoot out of them"...

I just got close to 2k rounds of .22 from one trip to Gander Mountain. Managed to order 1k from them online before they went out of stock and when I went into the store today to pick it up they had just gotten a delivery and let me get one box of each brand.

Now I just need my suppressor paperwork to come back. Might need to get a new barrel for my Buckmark for it. My 16 year old BM has a significantly lighter trigger than 7 lbs from the factory, I wonder when they changed that.

For a .22 rifle, I wanted something my kids could shoot. So I bought a youth ruger 10/22 and replaced the stock barrel with a whistle pig aluminum. It is soooo light. And I can still shoot it too.
