I can't say enough good things about the 15-22.
My wife, who grew up in a family that was more or less opposed to guns in a home, was (for whatever reason) uncomfortable with the idea of handling a firearm, much less keeping them in our home.
As I explained to her what guns are for, how they are to be respected, their various uses, and (in my opinion) their necessity for several reasons, she started to come around, but was still wary. Well, I took her to the range for her first time ever two weeks ago with the 15-22. It was like a light switch went off.
Her immediate reaction to the first shot she fired (25 yard targets, put 47 of her first 50 rounds inside the black...she immediately Instagramed it) was a silly grin and a slow neck turn to look at me saying, "...WOAH!"
From there on, she simply had at it. As we were leaving she said to me, "I want to get really good at shooting...like, I want to be a sniper." lol
It's a great gun for the whole family, a great AR trainer (if you don't already have a larger caliber AR), and from what I can tell thus far, it eats virtually anything you put in it.
Especially at a deal of this price, it is VERY well worth the money!
