I've got a pair Nocona boots that have a pretty good spot of deer blood. Any recommendations for getting the blood out?

Yes, I generally agree, but I'd like to not have a huge stain on them at the office.

Blood stains on the boots could end up being a very powerful motivating tool during business negotiations.

Try diluted hydrogen peroxide - just make sure to wipe it off clean after it bubbles a little. As always, test it on a non-visible portion of the boot first.

Dont wear boots you wear around the office to clean a deer.....

The hydrogen peroxide method above should take it out.

Well, you know what they say about hindsight. And, While I do like the idea of just completely soaking them in deer blood, I think I'll try the peroxide thing. Thanks for responses.

I have work boots and WORK boots. I'll wear my beat up nasty ones to the office because I don't give a ****, but I won't wear the nice ones to deer hunt. Hope it comes out, man!

^ agreed. I add new blood to my boots every year. Also, I have separate boots I wear to the office that I don't do anything else in so as not to get them dirty.

I would just try some mink oil. I have a pair of lace up red wing work boots that are my work/hunting boots. I've had them covered in blood before and I just washed it off or let it wear off.

I've never tried to get blood out of boots, but have used hydrogen peroxide to get it out of shirts and it works like a charm.
