How to make a dog drink water?

I have 2 labs that just don't seem to drink enough water - especially when hunting. I know they will drink when really thirsty, and they do. But there are times I know they need water, or I need them to drink some because we wont have access to water for awhile - and there is no getting them to drink.
Is there anything you can add to the water to make them want to drink, like a flavor or additive?
Or do I just need to get over it because they will drink when they need to?

Thanks for the help.

I looked it up on google, and a suggestion was that you should mix water with a can of chicken broth.

Let the dog smell the chicken broth and make them watch you mix it with the water.

They said the dogs usually drain the whole bowl of water.

My Border Collie had a bladder infection and dehydrated so he gave him a Sub Q injection of Saline and said to feed him a few plain ole Lays Potato chips. It worked and every time he ate few chips, he went right to his water bowl.

Yes and chicken broth

My dog seems to like drinking out of my glass better than out of her bowl.

I put water for my dogs in Aunt Jemima syrup bottles. I read about it in Outdoor Life. The way that the bottle is made makes it easy to squirt water in a dog's mouth. If this sounds weird, just put water in one and try it. It keeps from spilling half your water on the ground. It works better than a regular water bottle.

I carry one or sometimes two in the back of my bird vest depending on how far I am gonna walk from the truck and how many dogs I put down.

I carry a Camelbak under my bird vest and squirt it and most dogs love it. Puppy Fred is still at that point where she just wants to hunt, screw hydration! So I peel back her lip, pour a little in and she'll start to lap at it. But she doesnt love it.
