Any of you guys have a good recommendation for a good taxidermist near Katy? I have a couple of ducks that I would like to get mounted.

There is a guy in Sealy that I have been told does a great job for a fair price. Don't remember his name but there is a billboard on I10.

^ that's Jon Guidry. He does good work and that's where I take my stuff however he subs all his waterfowl out. FYI.

His name is John Guidry. He did some repair work for me last year and is currently doing a European mount for my son. I like his work and know many people around Sealy that have used him. I've never heard anyone say anything negative about him. taxidermybyjohn.com

2nd stay away from Cecil!!

I use Richard Fucik 281-242-6939 Sugar Land and he does a great job.

It is a little further away than you may want but Southern Wings up by Huntsville is the best IMO. They do amazing work. Check out their website.

I 2nd Bobby at Alief. I worked for him while in high school. my 18 year old shoulder mount still looks great.
